Introducing Team USA boxer, Stacia Suttles:
It wasn’t until Stacia Suttles turned 19 and stepped into a boxing ring for the first time, that the amateur fighter realised she was exceptionally gifted in the combat sport. Thriving as a quick-learning outsider, after just one year of training at her local gym in the Bronx, New York, Stacia would go on to be named a finalist of the 2015 New York Daily News Golden Gloves at the Barclays Center - considered one of the most elite Golden Glove titles by many boxing aficionados. An achievement, she says, that wouldn’t have been possible without grit, determination and a dead set vision for success.
It’s unsurprising that the talented boxer has been tipped to become one of the USA’s next big boxing stars. Her staggeringly successful boxing career has seen her already acquire two New York Daily News Golden Gloves, the 2016 National Golden Gloves silver medal, the 2016 USA National Championship, and an International Gold and Bronze Medal in 2017. Next, Stacia says, is bringing home a Gold Medal for Team USA in the Olympic Games. Visualisation, Stacia says, has been key to her knockout journey.
