Can I swim with my contact lenses in?
At Waldo, we advise you not to swim whilst wearing your contact lenses. If you do, we recommend that you remove them as soon as possible afterwards to reduce the risk of infection.
Can I wear my contact lenses in the shower?
We recommend that you remove your lenses before taking a shower or exposing your eyes to water, as soaps and other chemicals in shower products can cause irritation to your eyes.
Can I wear contact lenses when playing sport?
Absolutely, contact lenses are a fantastic option for people who enjoy playing sport. Contact lenses are a more hygienic and safer eyewear option than glasses in these cases because you don't have to worry about them getting broken.
Contact lens prescription and other lenses
Do I need to send my prescription to Waldo when I place an order?
You do not need to send a prescription to Waldo to place an order, however we do encourage you to upload your prescription as we may need to verify it.
Do I still need to see an optician if I order lenses online?
We recommend that you see your optician after receiving your free trial to check the fit and suitability of your new Waldo contact lenses. We also recommend that you have a contact lens check at least once a year and a full sight test every two years, or as recommended by your eye care practitioner. By agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you are confirming that you have had a contact lens aftercare check and that you have a valid up-to-date contact lens prescription.
I wear contact lenses that have a different base curve, will your lenses be suitable for me?
Waldo daily disposable lenses have a base curve of 8.5mm which suits most wearers, however we recommend that you visit your local optician to check the fit once you’ve received your first month of lenses.
Do you do toric, multifocal, or coloured contact lenses?
Not yet, but we're working on it. If you’d like to be notified once we stock these lenses, simply email us at hello@hiwaldo.com. We'll make sure you'll be the first to know as soon as we extend our range.

Do I have to accept a monthly supply of contact lenses if I don’t wear contact lenses every day?
With your trial you receive 10 Days' supply of lenses for free. Your ongoing subscription will contain 30 lenses for each eye delivered each month - you can easily amend the frequency by logging into your Account.
